Santorini and Greek breakfast

All of you who travel to foreign lands, often or less often, wouldn't you like the first taste of the day to be representative of the site located? Wouldn't you prefer to taste traditional products for breakfast at your hotel, other than the fried eggs with bacon that you can eat anywhere else in the world?

With that thought the idea of establishing the "Greek Breakfast" came up from the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels. The recommendations for hotels throughout Greece are to include in the breakfast local products (cheeses, meats, fruits, etc.), local pastries and jams, pies made by traditional recipes, drinks from aromatic plants and herbs, and generally give a unique taste character. This is an opportunity for you as guests fleeing from a place to remember the particular tastes, other than the sights.

At this wavelength moves in recent years and the hotel Heliotopos in Imerovigli and is one of the hotels where Greek breakfast is in the centre of attention. There, in the cave area where breakfast is served, you will find fresh baked bread, handmade pies and jams, while each morning, the hallmark of the island, Santorini fava beans with tomato sauce and capers, accompanied by the local tiny tomatoes stuffed with rice.
