WINE TASTING EVENTS AT HELIOTOPOS   Hotel Heliotopos in Imerovigli organizes wine tasting events every year in the unique lava cave of the hotel, during the touristic period.   A theme is chosen for each event and six wines from different wine producers are presented. The wine tasting events last about two hours and end with a small reception with finger food that takes place on the terrace of the hotel.   Participation cost for hotel residents is 18 Euro per person and for non-residents 25 euro per person. Sign up in advance is required for non Heliotopos hotel residents as limited seats are available.   Representatives of wineries whose wines are presented are also invited to the wine tasting events and have the opportunity to take part in the discussions and give more details about the wines they produce.   The dates of the wine tasting event for 2008 will be announced soon.
