A Journey of Taste and Aroma at Canava Roussos

Canava Roussos invites wine lovers to take a journey of taste and aroma at its charming winery in Mesa Gonia, Santorini. Step into the heart of one of the island’s most historic wineries and discover the passion and craftsmanship behind every bottle.

A visit to the winery is a unique experience. Guests are welcomed into the old “canava” (traditional wine cellar), where they can explore the winemaking process up close and hear the stories that make these wines so special. In the cozy tasting area, visitors have the opportunity to sample both current releases and rare aged vintages—each one a tribute to the richness and diversity of Santorini.

After the tour, it’s time to relax in the lush garden with a glass of wine in hand and good company all around. This peaceful setting offers a refreshing escape, especially during the warm summer days.

At Canava Roussos, the team believes that wine culture should be open and accessible to everyone. That’s why entry is free and there’s no obligation to purchase or consume.

“We simply want to share our love for wine with you, freely and wholeheartedly. Come, experience it with us, exchange ideas, and create lasting memories,” the Canava Roussos team says with a smile.

The winery is open to visitors Monday through Saturday, from 12:00 to 17:00. For more information or to book your visit, call +30 22860 31278.
