Where cutting-edge technology meets culture, and the greatest myth of humanity intersects with the history of Santorini, innovation never stops. The Lost Atlantis Experience Museum continues to lead the way in cultural innovation, now introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its exhibits.
The museum’s newest interactive addition is not just a technological upgrade. It is a groundbreaking fusion of advanced technology and educational design, enhancing both the immersive experience and visitor engagement. In this new exhibit, AI becomes a lively tool that invites visitors to reflect on what they have learned during their visit, through creative and entertaining formats that make knowledge fun and memorable.
The development of this new exhibit was made possible through a collaboration with the Complex Systems and Service Design Laboratory of the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean.
From the moment it first opened its doors, the Lost Atlantis Experience has used technologies rarely seen in museums to highlight the rich culture and history of Santorini. From 3D printing and augmented reality to holographic and interactive projections, the museum truly offers a glimpse into the future of museum experiences. What makes it even more impressive is that every exhibit integrates an element of innovation, creating an interactive journey that is both enjoyable and accessible. No prior experience or instructions are needed.
Located in Megalochori, the Lost Atlantis Experience is open to visitors daily from 10:00 to 19:00.
