Selene Vedema Returns on September 26–27

Selene Vedema 2025, the annual two-day celebration dedicated to the Santorini vineyard, returns this September in the atmospheric setting of Selene Restaurant in Fira. This year’s edition comes even more refreshed and refined, featuring immersive wine masterclasses, rare labels from Santorini and around the world, world-renowned guest speakers, and exquisite gastronomic events with a touch of Michelin-star magic.

Taking place on September 26 and 27, this year’s theme, “Legends will be poured in our glasses and we will taste history itself,” captures the essence of what promises to be an unforgettable wine celebration, honoring craftsmanship, terroir, and legacy.

Under the curation of Yiannis Karakasis MW, Selene Vedema 2025 will include the Vedema Grand Tasting, a full-day exhibition showcasing the finest Santorini wines presented by their very own producers, as well as two experiential wine masterclasses.

The program also includes an exceptional 4-Hands Dinner, where Michelin-starred chefs Ettore Botrini and George Papazacharias will combine their culinary visions, offering a tasting journey that blends Santorinian flavors with modern techniques. The celebration will reach its peak with the Wine Legends Dinner, hosted in the presence of Pierre Lurton, the man behind the legendary Château d’Yquem and Château Cheval Blanc. During this exclusive dinner, guests will taste remarkable vintages of Château d’Yquem, Ygrec, and Cheval Blanc, paired with a refined menu created by Executive Chef Hector Botrini and the culinary team of Katikies Group.

Following the artistic spirit of previous years, this year’s Selene Vedema will also launch with the opening of a sculpture exhibition, enriching the event’s cultural footprint. More details about the exhibition will be announced soon.
