Earth Hour is a global campaign against the climatic change, a symbolic action where millions of civilians all over the world can easily take part, just by turning off the lights for one hour. It is taking place the last Saturday of March and aims in increasing the interest for the environment and show us that small changes in our daily lives can result in huge advantages for the environment and our lives.
The Municipality of Santorini, is taking part in this symbolic action, and is calling everyone on the 28th of March to cease any electricity usage from 20:30 until 21:30.
