The Royal Caribbean Group is bringing a new generation all-day vacation experience to Santorini from the summer of 2026. This is the Royal Beach Club Santorini, which operates on Vlychada beach, in the former Theros Wave Bar area, and welcomes travelers from Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises cruise ships.
Ultimate Santorini Day Tour
The visit to the Royal Beach Club for cruise ship passengers is part of the full-day “Ultimate Santorini Day”, with a tour of the island’s iconic sites, from the whitewashed alleys and blue domes in Oia to a stroll through the shops, cafes and galleries of Fira, as well as relaxation in Vlychada beach, in the Mediterranean atmosphere of the beach club. The stay at the Vlychada beach club includes food, beer, wine and soft drinks.
The first arrival of the cruise ship Odyssey of the Seas was on, Monday, April 27, early in the morning in Santorini.
Who can book and how?
According to the company’s press release, at this stage, reservations are made in person at the Beach Club, while from the end of May an online booking platform will also be available, allowing digital booking.
The Beach Club will operate seven days a week from 09:00 to 17:00, although in a previous publication, the Royal Caribbean Group had stated that the Beach Club would only operate on days when one of its ships is visiting the island.
The prices for entry to the Royal Beach Club Santorini, including VAT, are as follows:
– €118 per adult guest
– €62 for children up to 12 years old
– Free for children up to 3 years old
Once online booking is available, an additional 8% surcharge will apply for bookings made through the online platform.
The entry price to the Royal Beach Club Santorini includes
– All-you-can-eat buffet with fresh Greek dishes, including frozen Greek yogurt
– Unlimited draft beer, local wine, coffee and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks
– Umbrellas and luxury sun loungers
– Private changing rooms
– On-site DJ
– Free Wi-Fi
The relevant press release also states that “Santorini residents will continue to have full access to the beach and the sea, with safe and easy access provided by the improved public access road.”
