Readers of the American magazine Global Traveler have voted for Santorini as the best island of Europe at the annual Leisure Lifestyle Awards for one more year.
It is the fifth consecutive year that Santorini gets this distinction. The prize was received by the director of GNTO America, Mrs. Greta Kamateros, during the award ceremony that was held last week in Los Angeles.
Mykonos (3rd place) and Crete (8th place) are also among the top ten island destinations in Europe.
