Gavalas Winery won one of the biggest distinctions at the most important international wine competition. Santorini 2018 won the Gold Medal and also received the Judges’ Selection award for the best Greek white wine at the TEXSOM IWA 2019 competition, one of the most important wine competitions in the USA and one of the most influential worldwide.
Among the 81 Greek wines that were awarded in total, eight more wines from Santorini won gold or silver medals. More specifically:
