Iota Zaggle or Iota’s handmade bags

Iota is a very talented young craftsman specializing in creating leather bags. Born in Germany and raised in the city of Larissa, she discovered from a young age the joy of creating handmade items. She experimented with different materials, such as felt, wire and leather cord, in the beginning, to make jewelry, ending up creating unique leather bags in one of a kind designs.

Through her travels and her life in various parts of Greece, she gained experience and knowledge and her art evolved. Unlike most, the winter in Santorini was what drew her to the island. As she was passing through Santorini on her way to Crete, she finally decided to try life on the island all year round.

All her creations are without the use of a  sewing machine. Using her hands and creativity she wields and fashions real leather to shape her authentic designs and create stylish handmade leather bags and accessories, inspired by the beauty of nature and the special atmosphere and aura of Santorini.

Iota’s work has been featured in Aegean’s “Blue” magazine, Canada’s “Dreamscapes” tourist guide, and many other media. She participates in large exhibitions of handmade crafts.
