Wine maker’s notes
Composition/Winemaking: A blend of 80% Avgoustiatis and 20% Mavrotragano, from the Sparveri and Agios Dimitrios vineyards at an altitude of 400m above sea level. Direct pressing is followed by alcoholic fermentation using isolated indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled after a short period on its fine lees.
Tasting notes: Pale pink color, with an elegant nose of strawberry and raspberry fruit. With lovely lifted acidity and hints of saltiness on the palate, this is a bright, vinous, and structured rosé with long long-lasting finish. Delicious and gastronomic combining both savoury and fruity elements this is a wine that fills the mouth with fragrance.
